superstitions:

  • superstitions are 'blind' belief that are not based on reasons or 9on the laws of science.
  • for example, it is believed that breaking of a mirror brings bad luck.
  • similarly, finding a horse shoe is supposed to be a sign of good fortune.
  • they are found in different parts of the world and are handed down from one generation to the next.
  • superstitions can not be proved, and so we can never know if there is any truth in them.
  • however, it is certain that believing fully in them would burden our minds and fill with irrational fear or impossible hopes.
  • so it is best to treat superstitions as simply interesting belief, and carry on with faith in ourselves and in life.
so, don't completely believe in it__________________.
